Things were very different, only nerds used the internet and social media didn't exist yet. Very few people carried phones so if you went outside you'd be unreachable until you came back. Also people had more irl friends because people didn't make friends online as often as they do today. Maybe it's just nostalgia, but I feel like we are much more lonely nowadays. I also feel that experiences felt more meaningful, people went to the movies to watch their favorite movies, nowadays people don't mind waiting for a streaming release and they have infinite options. Even renting VHS tapes was a cool experience, like going to Blockbuster with a cousin to rent VHS tapes to watch over the wekend. Also neon lights instead of LEDs.
>>1390 My work kills almost all enthusiasm for vidya, like I come home and I just don't wanna move a muscle. They say it's supposed to get easier over time but holy fuck is this gonna take a while for me. I've been trying to get a mile of walking done a few days per week, they say it's supposed to improve energy/mental health without destroying your joints like running but idk.
I haven't touched my BF4 account in like 2 years, probably no active players on the serves at this point.
