Expedition 33

Imo it deserved GOTY 2025, it's not perfect by any means, the technical polish and combat aren't that great, but it has a amazing art direction and story.
About the ending:
I picked Maelle's ending, the one most people would probably call the bad ending. I saw someone say that "Verso ending depicts harsh reality, maelle ending is a cruel fantasy" and I agree with that, I was happy to see everyone back to life and happy, but it was all an illusion, Maelle was hurting in the end. Afterwards I played Verso's ending and although it was sad to see the canvas erased, I agree with his idea that they had to move on.
Overall I'm very happy to see a smaller studio like Sandfall Interactive achieve something this good.

Devotion

From 2019, at first I got it because communists got it banned on steam but instead I got to experience one of the most heartbreaking things that can happen to a man.
It's mostly a psychological horror game with okay graphics BUT someone is watching you. A couple of okay jumpscares but brutal dark story you slowly piece together.
Don't want to spoil too much but the one watching you is your daughter
