Neon Genesis Evangelion

Shinji is a teenager who is drafted by his distant father to pilot a giant biological machine called an Evangelion to fight alien entities known as Angels. He struggles with his own trauma and the pressure of being humanity's last hope in a world bordering on a global disaster.
