In a future where therapists can enter their patients' dreams using a device called the DC Mini, a team of researchers must track down a thief who has stolen the technology and is causing people's dreams to merge with reality. The therapist Chiba uses her dream avatar, Paprika, to navigate the increasingly surreal and dangerous dreamscape to find the culprit.
