Shakugan no Shana: Season I

Yuji discovers that he is actually dead and his soul has been replaced by a 'Torch' that will eventually flicker out, erasing his existence from everyone's memory. He is saved by Shana, a Flame Haze who hunts supernatural entities called Crimson Denizens, and he decides to help her in her battles while trying to find a way to stay alive.
