The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

Kyon is a high school student who is pulled into a club for 'extraordinary people' founded by his classmate Haruhi Suzumiya, who unknowingly has the power to reshape the universe. He and the other club members—an alien, a time traveler, and an esper—must work to keep Haruhi entertained and prevent her from accidentally destroying the world.
