For example kids growing up in the past would deliverately do stupid stuff like try to eat a head of lettuce for dinner, find out that it makes you sick, and never do it again. Now as AI becomes smarter it can inform them that doing something like this is bad for them. But is it okay to rob them from the life lesson?
>>2107 (OP) Hell no, AI is going to decrease future human intelligence like leaded gasoline if we let kids use it. IMHO this is far worse than simple repetitive entertainment used to keep them quiet.
>>2108 I'm not a parent so I don't know what is the "right" way to raise kids but being overprotective does seem to screw them up because instead of developing a healthy risk/reward evaluation they just become terrified of the outside world and never experience it. Which ironically makes them sicker growing up not with normal diseases but instead autoimmune disorders as their body has so little experience with simple colds and reaction to harmless pollen that it goes apeshit and gives them asthma and whatnot.
