>same voice actors >same studio DEEN animating it God damn, we might actually get a good continuation of the 2006 Anime, Higurashi When They Cry, and we can all finally pretend GOU never existed.

#"Sousou no Frieren 2nd Season"
Sometimes I think Frieren is overrated, but it isn't It has so many beautiful scenes that make me appreciate life, that make me realize I have to take it easy sometimes
I've decided to try some classic anime, starting with Record of Lodoss War from 1990 I've heard the story isn't that great, but the visuals are amazing

I did this for the better part of 5 years, but within the same month that I ended up getting a job and going outside, I met the girl I'm now married to.
>>994 It feels like the style hasn't changed in a while. I'd say the 80s, 90s, and 2000s all had distinct styles, but it feels like after the 2000s everything looks the same
Definitely late 80s to early 00s. Black Lagoon, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, Trigun, DBZ, all had unique and recognizable art styles that while distinctly different, also just aren't seen anymore since the late 2000s. You can see a still image and just know it was made during that timeframe. Peak for sure.
>>252 Thanks and yeah SVT-AV1 (including the PSY one) is weird with the CRF scale. Normally with x264 anything above 30 would be YIFY quality but for some reason a slow preset + high CRF value in AV1 leads to subjectively/objectively good quality at low bitrates.
>>253 Yeah that braincell hyperthreading has me intrigued and at least the magic isn't the boring overkill 1-hit-kill kind. Haven't watched more than episode 3 though.
>>1075 (OP) I never got around to watching the show, just youtube clips mostly. The memes are fun though and apparently some Japanese despise it when you fully articulate the "u" sound in desu.
