I've noticed that I'm always putting much more effort into my relationships with people than they put with me.
People don't even remember my birthday. I met this girl a few years ago who complained nobody remembered hers and I made the point to remember it, but when it was my turn, nothing.
Sometimes I feel like I don't even exist.
I maintain friendships with friends I made in middle school and put effort into those relationships, but when it comes to new friendships I'm somewhat lazy about it. Especially online friends. Well, the reality is when I'm online, I probably don't want to synchronously chat with you. Especially not on some horrendous "service" like Discord. I'd probably be more receptive to an online friendship if someone was willing to correspond over email.

I think it's usually wrong to assimilate people over the internet as friends because there's no strong incentive to be truthful about yourself. Catfishing is the most obvious example, dudes thinking they bagged a 9/10 asian chick only to find out it's a man good at silicone implants/makeup. Then there's all those patriotβ’ twitter accounts that turn out to be from India and so on and so on.
The rare cases where you may possibly want to consider making an internet friend an actual friend is if you constantly "click" with them and form a deeper bond than say a parasocial relationship over years. But even then be prepared to be lied to, sometimes out of necessity to not be homeless and sometimes out of a mutated form of love that cannot exist.
But having external online communities where you can discuss things that would push away your IRL friends/family is nice. Like if you spend hours building ships in a bottle every night and find communities that value this then it's nice feeling that you share this unique interest with other human beings somewhere out there.

It's good to let go sometimes because often that's how people improve themselves. It's like 4chan if you cane from there like me, I did my best to weather the constant spam and utterly broken and worn down state of the site. Then the 2025 hack and still the refusal for 4chan to improve things made me start searching for altchans.
I had good times with 4chan and it was the source of the 2026 backrooms movie, so many good memories. But I've realized it's a mistake going back there because I'm not valued there and the oldfags left long ago.

Found an old folder with some imageboard stuff

Japanese anon is mad
From 2018 and originally from 2006

Post whatever comes to your mind
I saw this image and was wonder, is feeling like an outsider just the normal autistic experience? My earliest memory was feeling like an outsider when I started school. I've had this feeling my whole life

This is why you can't buy DDR5

Don't you sometimes question reality? Like why does all this exist? Is God real? Who or what made God? Are our lives all that there is? We die and it's gone? Everyone we ever loved will just be gone one day? Nothing makes sense

I believe that the spirit of Anime Movies can be applied IRL in this End Times, at least one RPG game and 5 anime can represent it. These are EarthBound, Dragon Ball, Made in Abyss, Dr. Stone, Full Metal Panic & Evangelion.

Got this thread idea from @webpgoy
Have you guys ever tried learning Japanese - ζ₯ζ¬θͺ?
Back in the day I used to study it with the Genki and A Dictionary of Basic Japanese Grammar books

We don't need eugenics, we just need actions to have consequences. Judges let criminals like that walk free all the time, you hear of cases where one guy gets arrested 50 times and is still allowed to terrorize the streets, the laws are soft on crime.
Put criminals in prison and throw the keys away.

I'd be careful with dieting, most people undershoot their 1G/KG bodyweight protein RDA go into muscle catabolism.
I've actually been thinking about making a useful/safe dieting guide for anons once I understand it better.
But if you weight like ~200 lbs or ~90 KG like me it's critical that you never dip below 90 grams of protein while dieting.
Protein quality also seems like a factor too, red meat despite all the pro-vegan "studies" on it remains the highest quality.
Fat is another factor, really lean meats like rabbit meat apparently cause protein poisoning.

It's a really complex topic overall since humans did not evolve eating super high fatty wagyuu steak but it seems that we've had a bad time when forced to eat rabbit meat as well.
What I also gather is by eating super high protein you starve yourself of other important minerals/vitamins (stored in fat) and your body short circuits It seems.

I question things all the time but I find solace in the belief that there are multiple Gods out there and that we're never really alone. The double slit experiment makes me wonder how higher dimensional beings behave when we're not observing them and how what we think is a bleak reality is actually just the result of us being observers instead of doers.
Like maybe the key to reaching a higher level of spiritual connection/peace is to stop being the observer. Like when you're having trouble sleeping you make it worse by worrying about getting some sleep (ie the observation makes you panic) instead of trying to stay awake by counting to 200 (ie doing something that mentally exhausts you to sleep).
Anyway that's my 2 cents.

This link my Retro Web,too simple but this the real Portal, Which really important!ππππ

It's good that you found umigalaxy, I also did, I'm a refugee from 4chan's deteriorating /g/ board. However you should tell us a little bit more about your site so you don't get labeled a spammer.
If I had to pick an Anime that touched upon real life themes, it would be Higurashi (2006 one not Gou). It shows how isolation leads to avoidable tragedies. In the end we all function better when we're part of a community that cares about you. Which for me definitely isn't 4chan lol.

My ears tingle when I hear "KUSENI" because it usually means they're talking shit.
Yes, I did 4 semesters of Japanese using Genki in college, then a few years later did immersion and anki with /jp/djt. I haven't seriously practiced since 2019. If your main goal is reading visual novels and watching anime, it's pretty attainable. You eventually might start grappling with the amount of time you're spending learning a language solely to watch cartoons that are already translated, though.
I read that Nick Fuentes makes like 60k a month. I think these hardcore creators are gaining a lot of ground over legacy media
yea

@void you should seek alternative places if you want more users, 4chan meta thread censorship is getting worse which seems like an indirect admission that users are mass abandoning 4chan for realz now. Looking for them on other altchans might be worth a shot, I doubt twitter users are interested in WebP/AV1, they seem more braindead than the average /pol/ user tbh.

It's weird, it's like everything besides the top 5 most popular apps are dying down. I tried posting on reddit, twitter, 4chan, sometimes the website gets some views, but nothing too special. Marketing and getting attention is super hard nowadays.
Google search is pretty much useless as well.

Maybe the solution is making a viral post somewhere, just posting for impressions doesn't seem to work very well.
Like my last post on twitter got 1.2k impressions, the last one on reddit 3.5k, but that hardly translates to any new visitors.
The best day for the website happened when I made a post that gained some traction on 4chan, it got like 100+ visits.
But of course, making viral posts isn`t easy.
