Valvrave the Liberator

Haruto is a high school student who becomes the pilot of a powerful humanoid weapon to defend his neutral space colony from a sudden military invasion. He quickly discovers that the robot consumes his humanity and requires him to make difficult sacrifices to keep fighting.
