I like how much better the image thumbnail quality is tbh.

Like on 4chan before the cocksucking mods rudely deleted an innocent tech related thread, AGAIN, you'll notice how the umigalaxy thumbnail is miles better in quality and resolution yet it's still really small in filesize so it loads in 0.1 seconds...

Btw why does this stupid anime image seem to make /g/ mods shit themselves and go nuclear "delete thread immediately!" anyway? It doesn't seem to depict anything that's NSFW, I don't see anything wrong with it.

Too old.

Only real laughs here

I get the feeling like 4chan should never have advertising revenue. It should fit on the two Macs it used to run on, running at a small loss that is affordable for the owner, as a freedom-focused passion project, and its staff should all be people who really want to see it succeed. That last point is the thing it currently doesn't have. Everyone involved with 4chan professionally is sick to death of seeing it, and when all your site's users are anonymous, there's no way to recruit fresh, enthusiastic moderators to replace the incestuous cabal of jaded lifers who just treat it like a tiresome obligation.

Hello anon, i use gentoo

I write down all of my dreams. but most of the time I can only manage to remember a few things about the dream so I decided to feed those dream snippets to chatgpt to see what it spits out.
>I dreamed I was taking care of a girl who was sick, she was very cute

>I dreamed billie eilish was living with me, she was laying down
That's pretty cute

Where is 404 gril?
>>1934
Well, I was never really that happy with the previous version, I used shadcn components because they're easy to build with, but nowadays it's like every slop website uses it
>>1937
True, I got a lot of great feedback
>>1934
>btw, any details you can provide on your spam / not deterrence? I run a few of my own sites and use Anubis (with the mascot remo-ACK)
To be honest right now I don't have a lot of protection online, I even disabled Cloudflare's Turnstile. The website is so tiny that I don't see any reason to bother the users with these things.

Ebussy wouldn't say that.

Nah but I've been able to learn to to make and execute bash scripts on WSL, though this was done through a virtualized Ubuntu install not a gentoo one.
I'm currently using it to compare image codecs with CVVDP though I've had to call the windows CVVDP install as emulating it on WSL has been a pain.
I do hope one day I become skilled enough to run everything on the bare metal. I'd love to see what the performance of those ARM chromebooks is like for testing purposes.
Look, I tried to switch from Arch to Gentoo, but it's wasting my god damn time. I swear, it takes 8 hours to compile some random fucking package, and then it suddenly fails. Also why is the package manager written with Python? When I switched back from Gentoo to Arch, It felt like pacman was unbelievably fast.
I run Gentoo +OpenRC + Sway on all my machines. I used Arch for ~3 years before that, but I switched because pacman kind of sucks, and managing packages on arch got way too annoying. Now, I just run updates in the background like once per week. My desktop has an i5-10600k and 16GB ram, so updates are reasonably fast. Even on my shitty ThinkPad, they're not that bad. Gentoo is just comfy, man.

I am yet another Gentoo+OpenRC+Sway user here. Man needs nothing more than this in life.

Surreal
Used to have a recurring dream of waking up in a completely white room, white furniture white walls, white everything. There was a woman in a white nightgown with black hair and pale skin, she used to grab me by the hand and lead me through the white door of the room into another white room, and another, and another. It was a pleasant dream, i felt like i was floating, all warm and fuzzy. I still think about her face often, wondering if I'll ever meet her.

>I dreamed I was going out with a girl, she was super cool and we went to a cafe that was very weird and it had a several huge posters of nerd stuff. Then we left and walked outside, when we were going back we saw a bunch of people fell of a flight of stairs, the place was very ghetto

We did. I blame the #metoo movement, personally. For more than 15 years now, we have lived in a society (especially online) which is very open about stories of misogyny, abuse, sexual assault, rape, and so on. Those stories draw clicks on social media, because it's incredibly easy to write "Click here to learn about rapists and how to not get raped" and literally every woman in the world will want to check that out. So in a way, even though it's better to be open about these things than to cover them up, women are still being exploited by the increased coverage and attention of their problems.
So women are being fed an infinite stream of stories about how as soon as they leave the house, everyone wants to rape and murder them. They don't feel safe. The more time a woman spends online, the more paranoid and terrified she will wind up. Meanwhile, of course, the overwhelming majority of men are not rapists. But they try to talk to women, and it's almost impossible now. You can't even talk to them about what a great feminist you are, because I think women are now cottoning on to the truth that any self-proclaimed "male feminist" always, always turns out to be a predator or abuser, without exception.
If you're 16 years old and male, you have spent your entire life being told, "Don't do that" in regards to women. But have you noticed how no woman ever says, "Do this instead"? It's impossible to know what to do when you've only ever been told not to do things.

>>1411 (OP)
Doesn't that make you no better than a woman? I'd rather just not share certain information at all.
>>1424
When everybody lies then nobody can be trusted and you get dysfunctional societies.
>>1430
If by "psyop" you mean the 19th amendment then yeah, the damage has been catastrophic from that thing.
>>1889
I have a hard time seeing men and women being equal in real life when we don't even have the same sex organs.
The #metoo thing felt like an admission that women do not want equality but deranged loyalty to anything they say.
What if the 19th amendment lead to this "ahhh all men are rapists!" from women and "I hate all women, they're all whores!" from men?

Exit 8 looks promising. I'm too much of a pussy to play the video game, I'm okay with a movie version though.
